A Christmas Story…
Don’t let this happen to you!

Here’s an important tip. If your brother is being chased by the police, and he calls you on his cell phone during the police chase to come and pick him up because his car is becoming disabled, don’t arrive with ounces of methamphetamine in your vehicle.

You’d think this was a no-brainer and this wasn’t on America’s Dumbest Criminals (although it meets the criteria), it actually happened recently. A parolee was being chased by the police and the pursuit went through several cities. The suspect’s car was rapidly becoming disabled so he did what every other pursued criminal would do. (No, not give up…) He called for help.

He called his brother on his cell phone. I could just imagine the conversation……….

Ring Ring Ring……
“Yo?”
“Hey bro, what’s up?”
“Ah nothing much, just being chased by the police, what’s up with you?”
“Ah nothing, just cutting some meth to sell. Bet my last police chase was better than yours.”
“Maybe not, mines still going. By the way, can you help me out?”
“Sure, as soon as I weigh this ounce”
“Where you at Bro, I’ll pick you up”
“My cars dying so I’ll meet you at ………………………………

So when the police see pursued suspect number one jump out of his disabled vehicle and jump into another vehicle, they think it’s a carjacking in progress and do what they need to do. Stop the threat.

Turns out suspect number one was only jumping into his brother’s vehicle that arrived to rescue him. Too bad, suspect Dodge Durango vs. Police Ford Explorer. And suspects find out what a police tazer feels like………..

So remember this tip. If you come to a police chase to rescue your brother, DON’T BRING OUNCES OF METHAMPHETAMINE WITH YOU…… DUH………………Just a humorous holiday tip that actually recently happened.

Have a Very Merry Christmas and a Safe and Happy New Year from NetCops PSI.

And KEEP IN MIND, have a designated driver handy for those holiday parties because law enforcement will be out in force for the Holidays to ensure a safe Holiday for all. If you try to drive intoxicated, law enforcement will provide a free ride for you if you drink too much, but it will be in handcuffs, costly, and embarrassing……
