QUESTION:
Hello. I live in the state of Mississippi, in which only one current license plate is required on the back of a vehicle. However, I am wanting to display an expired Missouri license plate from 2010 that my aunt and uncle gave me on the front of my vehicle. Would this be considered illegal? I feel like this should be fine since the state only requires rear plates. Thank you for your help!
ANSWER:
Yes this would be illegal. Two different states, expired, does not match the vehicle. I would say if you decide to do this and it is seen, the plate will be confiscated or the car will be towed. I would not rick losing your collector plate.
